“Find something you love to do, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” I love what I do and that is in large part to the amazing fellow creatives that pull together with me to create all these beautiful weddings for my wonderful couples. Every now and again I am happy to share the tips, tricks and advice from these genius artists.
Southern Vintage in the Rocky Mountains
Tara and Tyler’s perfect day came together thanks to our amazing team of professionals. We were able to create Tara’s dream wedding by combining her quirky, mountain girl childhood with her vision of a Southern Vintage affair. Set against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, the designers mixed the southern vintage feels of this historic Manor House with the elegance of a stunning bride, a handsome groom, crystal chandeliers, live music on a baby grand piano, sophisticated table settings, and gorgeous florals highlighted with delicate pops of blush, burgundy and gold.
A Touch of Lakeside Rustic Elegance
What a location and what a couple! Meagan wanted an elegant, rustic, mountain wedding – so here we are nestled lakeside in the glorious mountains of Colorado. Matthew really only wanted one thing – CAKE! So, after 6 months of anxiously anticipating the cake tasting, he chose (drumroll please) a 5 year old’s birthday cake – FUNFETTI! I love how they stayed true to who they are and made this authentically them.
Candlelight Mountain Soiree
Candlelight and hockey dreaming. We were able to create Allyson’s candlelight dream with some of Johnny’s hockey inspiration. The wedding gods smiled on us for this evening, outdoor, Colorado, November, candlelight ceremony. Set against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains and Red Rocks, the designers mixed the southern charm of this historic Manor House with the elegance of a Cinderella bride, a handsome groom, candlelight ceremony, a touch of hockey inspiration and a moody blue reception with a Colorado vibe. This couple knows how to have fun.
Old Hollywood Destination
Talk about trust! Charlie’s only direction was “I want San Diego, white flowers, round shape with stargazer lilies”. That was it! Oh boy … challenge accepted. We were able to create Charlie and Dave’s beautiful wedding by combining her love of old Hollywood with his Top Gun lovin’ San Diego destination. Set against the gorgeous beaches of Coronado Island in San Diego, the designers mixed the stunning location of the Loew’s Coronado Bay Resort with the elegance of our gorgeous bride, a handsome, military West Point grad groom, crystal chandeliers, sophisticated table settings, gorgeous florals and football on the beach! As Charlie calls it “The Best Day Ever!”
Happy Sweet 16 to this beauty! This Cinderella Winter Wonderland came together very quickly for Miss Kylie. We were able to create a princess fairy tale event in this stunning Chateaux. The dream began with an entrance down the winding staircase for this modern day Cinderella, followed by an elegant dinner and wardrobe change! Now begins the Mustache dance and photobooth, culminating with a balloon drop to end the evening of fun. Wow! What a night!
